R&D, oil and fiber crops breeding and original hemp variety for high quality textiles

R&D center is operating since 2014. High quality original AUSTA SK hemp seed variety was breaded by R&D center scientists and adapted specifically to the Baltics climate. These seeds are very low THC content – 0,001% (THC ≤0,02 % is allowed in EU) and have high content of fiber – ≥ 35%. Medium vegetation time and high yield up to 16 t/ha dry mass of stems makes these seeds exclusive and beneficial. AUSTA SK hemp seed variety is Monoecious, more uniform comparing to dioecious varieties.

What makes us unique - variety of hemp Austa SK, which has been developed by our scientists to achieve a particularly high fiber content of the raw material amounting up to 35%. While growing, we focus on maximum fiber content in the stalk of the plant, not the seed. This is why we differ from the other hemp growers and processors, who are paying attention to seeds and leaves. Specialized equipment for cutting hemp is used, which is tailored to obtain highest quality fiber.

Supply of hemp fiber for high quality textile

We will be able to offer processed fiber to the buyers in the textile, non woven, composited material, pulp and paper and construction industries, as well as the pellets suitable for energy production, and cleaned hemp shives used in different industrial sectors.

Farmer's support for hemp harvesting

Our partner Agrosfera, UAB provides farmers with hemp seeds and fertilizers, as well as information regarding cultivation of hemp.

The company invests in specialised machinery, which will be used to harvest and pack the crop, later delivered to hemp processing plant.

The special feature of the plant will be the no-waste production. Ecologically grown hemp straw will be processed to obtain high quality fiber, while the residual materials (shives and pellets) will also be used in various agricultural and industrial sectors.
