Natūralus Pluoštas will participate in an exhibition in China

On 25–27 September fiber hemp processing company Natūralus Pluoštas will participate in Yarn Expo Autumn 2019 in Shanghai, China. Having begun the processing of hemp stalks into fiber this year, the company will present its factory’s capabilities and processed fiber samples.

“The demand for natural high-quality fibers is growing worldwide. We see that such well-known brands as Patagonia, Levi’s, and others are very interested in new sustainable raw materials. Materials with hemp are the future of the textile industry because hemp is a sustainable culture that helps preserve natural resources. In the expo, we will present our products – hemp fiber processed in various ways. Also, we will show textile samples made of hemp fiber and will be looking for clients for our products or fiber processors for long-term collaboration,” said Donatas Čerkevičius, Commercial Director of Natūralus Pluoštas.

“No pesticides or other chemicals are used for hemp growing, which makes this raw material the most natural and safest both for the environment and for people. Due to its good properties – durability, longevity, humidity-controlling and anti-allergenic properties – hemp fiber is particularly suitable for textile products.

“Seeing that the demand for materials with hemp fiber is rapidly increasing throughout the world, this expo is a good opportunity to present ourselves to the large and promising Asian market. In the Natūralus Pluoštas factory, we are capable of producing large quantities of high-quality fiber,” Mr Čerkevičius has told.

Yarn Expo is a leading exhibition for Asian and European suppliers and producers in the sector. The expo takes places in spring and autumn. Here the participants present their latest products: natural yarns including cotton, wool, flax, specialty products including elastic, fancy and blended yarns, as well as fibers for these yarns.

It is estimated that Yarn Expo Autumn will attract over 500 local and international participants and over 20,000 visitors. The exhibition will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. The company’s stand can be found in Hall 8.2, its number will be 8.2 - F32.
