Cleaned hemp shives

Hemp shives cleaned from dust in various fractions are valuable material due to the high water absorption, thermal insulation properties. Therefore it is widely used in agriculture as animal bedding, mulching of plants and in construction industry as ecological construction material.

Aside from being used as a plant care material, the cleaned shives can also be used during planting and perfectly replace the use of peat. Mix cleaned shives with soil (at a 10:1 ratio) and use it for plant transplantation. It will help ensure soil fertilisation and retention of moisture.
